What is a sin "not leading to death" and sin "leading to death"?

What is a sin ?
We had a discussion about this earlier but I feel that there is a need to go in to more details because it seems that people don´t know what sin really is. Even when we read and quote the Bible it is not clear what sin actually is in the real life.

It is any other God but the God from the Bible, and anything you keep higher than God. Bible also say that anything you keep higher than God will be your plague. That can be even your faith if you believe in false or imagined God, Jesus or meaning of the words in the Bible. God will NOT keep you accountable about unconscious sins if you do your best of all your strength , but He will reveal it to you sooner or later.

How do you follow the Holy Spirit?:

Simply you don´t lie, pretend or denies the truth because it suets you.

How do you know what the truth is?:

It is all around you and in your conscience. Holy Spirit is truth and speaks through YOUR conscience.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "BORN AGAIN" AND "SAVED"

Soul and the spirit
 

There is much confusion in the body of Christ about salvation primarily because most believers do not distinguish between the soul and the spirit.  They are certainly NOT the same, nor are they interchangeable.
 Hebrews 4:12 points out the distinction, clearly suggesting that if we are to walk in the spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh, if we are to walk by faith and not by sight, if we are to crucify the flesh, then the soul and the flesh must be divided by the two edged sword of the word of God.

1. Differences and similarities between our soul and our spirits
 
In order to understand this biblical truth, we also need to have a sense of the differences and similarities between our soul and our spirits.  There are quite a few similarities. 
Though the  body is mortal, the spirit and the soul are both eternal.  As the body is finite and material, both the soul and the spirit are invisible and without natural substance. 
As the body has five senses, the spirit and the soul have senses also.    The spirit is heaven bound.
If it were not for the soul, the spirit would "fly away."  The body is earth bound.  The two meet and correspond with each other through the activity of the soul.


Soul is mediator between the spirit and the body

So a basic definition of the soul is that the soul is the mediator between the spirit and the body, an interpreter.  A control center, if you will, with the brain of the body as its command center.    A person who is alive yet brain dead, is one whose spirit is still in his body but his soul has left. A body without a soul is dead so they turn off the plug and the spirit flies away.  However, when the spirit leaves and the soul remains in the body, as long as the spirit does not travel too far into "outer space," the soul keeps the body intact and alive.  Out of body experiences are called astral travel by occultists. However, every day, the spirit often takes "little trips" through day dreaming and deeper forms of  altered states of consciousness.
When the body is asleep, the soul is busy keeping things in order.
For example, when you are sleeping and your body gets the urge to urinate, the spirit will create a toilet in a very imaginary way.   The soul tries to "help out" and I see the toilet in the spirit, but something always goes wrong. In a dream,  I see myself making the effort, but the sensation in my body continues to increase and my soul continues to try and work things out in my mind, but a mental picture of urinating does not help the situation.  So my soul simply wakes up my body and says, "hey Pam, you'd better get  your body up before we have an accident in this bed."    This little example shows how when you are sleeping, the body is at rest and therefore is at its weakest.


Demons also try to send their messages to the soul
 
The spirit and the soul often fight for control, at times  manifested as a strange dream.  Demons also try to send their messages to the soul and God will also communicate in dreams, but only to your spirit. While the spirit operates in the unconscious realm of intuition, the body in the conscious realm of the natural world,  the soul functions in both realms.  For this reason, the soul and the spirit of a born again, saved person must be divided, for God will only speak to your spirit.   Here is the thing.  When the Holy Ghost draws us to Jesus, our spirits immediately become "born again."  That which is flesh is flesh.  Flesh is a mixture of soul with the body.  Flesh is also a mixture of soul with the spirit.  So when God "saves us," He gives us a NEW SPIRIT.  All of the darkness that was in our spirits BEFORE the Holy Ghost translates us out of darkness into God's marvelous light, our spirits were depraved and contaminated with evil.  That is why when we slept, we had so many nightmares.  The evil that we saw was merely a reflection of our own dark spirits, contending with demons.    When our spirits are born again, all things pass away, all things become NEW.  We become a "new creation." God's light comes into our spirits and our spirits become the temple of God.  Our spirits are ALWAYS eternal, both before salvation and after it. Before the new birth, our spirits are in captivity  to Satan.    As soon as we say "yes" to the invitation of Jesus, our spirits are immediately changed, justified, sanctified, seated in heavenly places.  We are "translated" or brought out of Satan's dark jail into the marvelous light of Jesus Christ.  To be sanctified is to be set apart for God's use---a vessel of God. 
 
To be justified is to be treated as though we never sinned

We are washed and cleansed.  We are seated in heavenly places immediately, with our prayers having immediate access to the throne of God.   I know that rebirth is immediate because the Lord allowed me to actually SEE the process at the moment of the rebirth of my spirit.  I was laying on my back on my couch in a birthing position, legs wide open as in labor.  Contractions began to occur but they were not in my womb.  They were in the chest/belly area, the seat of my spirit.  As I lay there, I saw a light, like the hand of God, go into that area, as if it was gently massaging me there. I had about 4 deep "birth pains" and then "voila!"    Hard to explain.  All I know is that the old gospel song which asks "how did you feel when you come out the wilderness?  Did your hands look new and your feet too?" Yes, Lord!  I actually felt like I had just been born for the FIRST time.    It was like  I had no existence before that day on 3/29/1977 at 4pm on a Monday!  I was crying and laughing at the same time!  What joy unspeakable.  I have felt the joy of the Lord many times, but never like the day that my spirit was made new and I was born again.   However, the soul said, "Hey, Pam.  You are 33 years old.  Life goes on. Let's get real, here, okay?"     Yep.  My un-renewed  soul showed up the next day, March 30.  It was my favorite aunt's birthday.  I'd never missed sending her a card or buying her a gift.  So I wanted to call her.  The Holy Spirit said "No, Pam.  Today is God's day."  I struggled real hard that day.  The Lord told me to sit and think on nothing but Him for the entire  day.  Try as I might, it was real rough.  I wanted to go see about my aunt.  As I sat there, my mind thought of all the things I could be doing.  I remember thinking, "the toilet needs to be cleaned."  I wanted to get up from being before the Lord  to clean my toilet. It was the strangest thing because my flesh is not fond of house cleaning. By sundown, I was a sobbing mess!!!

That is how the Lord showed me that  even though my spirit was born again, the salvation of my soul had to be "worked out."  How? By the renewing of my mind.
I'm just going by memory here but this is how the salvation of our souls is worked out.  We present our bodies----all 3 parts---as a sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God as a reasonable service.  Where our soul and our bodies are concerned, we are not to be conformed to this world.  Instead, we are to allow ourselves to be "transformed" by THE RENEWING OF OUR MINDS.   With a renewed mind, the salvation of our souls is worked out. Why?  Because the soul consists of the mind, the intellect, the emotions, the feelings, ie. the  individual, human personality that makes each of us different---one from the other.  There are no souls that are the same.  So the renewal will affect each of us differently.

Each soul is an "I AM."  However, God is the I AM THAT I AM."

So the working out of the soul's salvation often involves wrestling not only with principalities and powers but with God Himself.   The Holy Ghost, though the Comforter, He is also the taskmaster.  He helps us to put to death the deeds of the flesh for we can not work out the salvation of our soul's without the Holy Ghost.   He will put us in situations in order to break the "self" aspect of our soul because the soul is "all about self."   I can hear your unspoken question.  You are thinking, "what if a person's spirit becomes born again, but that person doesn't do a good job of renewing their souls through dying to self?

Will they STILL be saved?

 I have both a biblical and a personal answer to this question.  Here goes!      The answer is if they are born again,  "yes, they will be saved,  but so as by fire!."   Here is the scripture:  It is 1 Cor. 3:14  "If any man's work shall be burnt, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved, yet so as by fire."           ( suggest you also read the verses connected to it)  I saw two recent instances of this in the death of two important women in my life.  One was my daughter's grandmother  whom everyone called "Sis."  Sis was a good, strong, well liked, jovial  woman.  She was  a religious Catholic but she rarely went to church.  Sis lived by the beat of her own drum. In other words,  she lived her life how she chose, as is typical of Catholicism.  One of her vices was smoking.  It killed her a week before her 80 birthday.  While still above ground, we celebrated her 80th birthday at the cemetery and the wake.   When the doctors tried chemo, Sis said, "no, I am going home to die." She did so,  in good humor and without fear. Sis was quite the trooper!     However, for years,  it was clear to me  that Sis was not saved.   A day came when the doctors said "she'll die today."  But Sis lived a few days more, shocking everyone.  One morning, the Lord spoke to my daughter in a dream.  He said, "Go to your grandmother and say "Jesus" in her ear.  She went.  Sis was laying on the bed, eyes closed, looking like she was dead already.  My daughter got up on her bed, whispered in her ear, "Jesus."    Sis's eyes popped wide open.  Looked directly into the eyes of her grand daughter.  30 seconds later, she was gone.    As a mother in law, Sis and I had had our issues.  But one thing the Lord did.  At her wake, He made it real clear to me that He took Sis with Him.  In 30 seconds.  Certainly she suffered loss both here on earth and with her place in the eternal kingdom.  But she is saved, since her works are burned, Sis is saved and in heaven. To be saved so as by fire, is a rather "narrow" escape, to say the least.   Same thing with another close friend.  This woman was strong, demanding, controlling, a matriarch in the truest sense of the word. In life, I'd compare Gladys to  Tyler Perry's Madea. However, she was Pentecostal and extremely religious. Gladys went to church every time the doors were opened. A younger woman then  Sis, Gladys had just retired.  She had big plans.  She moved back south and bought a home where she could have her "Madea's Family Reunions."  Suddenly, she was stricken with a stroke, completely paralyzed.  Seemed like she lost her faith, starved herself and died less than a year after the stroke.    However, a day or so before her death, Gladys came to me in my sleep, looking young, strong and happy. Wow!  She was sooooo pleasant!    In the dream, she made peace with me over a minor disagreement.  The next day, she was dead.  The entire time I knew her, I believed that she was not born again.  Gladys certainly never seemed to renew her soul. 

When do I believe God saved her? Probably on her deathbed.  I don't know.
What I know is that she is in heaven ---because God revealed it to me.  He showed me  that Gladys is with Him. Certainly, she suffered loss.  She was unable to enjoy the retirement she planned and her family was left feuding and dysfunctional.  Yet God provided Gladys a place in his heavenly kingdom, so as by fire!   God saves many people at their deathbeds, particularly those who die of debilitating sicknesses and diseases. This is why physical healing is NOT always God's will.  I suspect this is the case because when the body weakens, the spirit gets stronger. When I was an organized church pastor, I witnessed this among the sick and dying.  The soul weakens, in that it is no longer focusing on "self" and the world.  The spirit begins to ascend.  This is the true purpose of fasting--to  weaken the body in order to strengthen the spirit and thereby increase the spirit's  capacity for greater faith.  There is a real serious danger to a fast that is not led by God because when the spirit is strengthened, doors are open to BOTH side of the spirit world---Satan as well as God.   So through tribulation, trouble, and trials, the Holy Ghost prepares a wilderness for all of us so that the salvation of our souls will be worked out, in fear and trembling.  The fear is "the fear of the Lord."  I have personally done a lot of trembling.  In fact, I trembled much this week.  I'll simply say that an ex-husband of mine died on May 9th.  I can't go into details about it because of my fear of the Lord.  I will simply say that through  his death, the Lord sent me a powerful message that helped to transform my soul. 


The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

In spite of the fact that the work of dividing the soul from the spirit is the job of the Holy Ghost, we have a part to play also. The Holy Spirit will not carry out His work without our consent and cooperation.
Briefly summarized, the following are  conducive conditions set by our diligence and perseverance:our will must be firmly placed on God's side as the circumstances of life set the stage; the cross of Jesus as set forth in Romans 6:1-14 must be steadily maintained.  As we carry out the command NOT to let sin reign in our bodies; when we crucify the affections and lusts, we  allow the Holy Ghost to make various adjustments in our likes and dislikes, the selection of the people in our lives, our ambitions and desires, the things in our personalities that we have admired that require change.

Generally, whatever we love about ourselves is what God hates, and what we hate about ourselves, God loves, is the general rule.  as we delight in the Lord, He puts His desires in our hearts.  It is almost an unconscious thing.  One day, we look up and we are desiring what He desires and we often don't know HOW that happened. As Jesus said, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Dying to self loses its sting. To delight in the Lord involves fulfilling these conditions by carrying them out in practice daily.  As we become steadily faithful to all that the Holy Ghost has shown us, we  will deliberately refuse the soul life and choose to open ourselves to the higher life of Christ in our spirits. 

The word of God as the sword of the Spirit is not the bible

 Shocked? 
Well, the bible was not written when Paul wrote his epistles.  Surely the word of God includes the written word but it is not solely the written word.  This is yet another subject for yet another mentoring letter.   To walk after the spirit is to be able to discern what is spirit from what is soul. More on this in part 2.   THE BEST WORK ON THIS SUBJECT CAN BE FOUND IN TWO AUTHORS:  Jessie Penn Lewis and Watchman Nee.  Watchman wrote many books but he studied the books of Jessie, so I would start with her.  She has some little books that you can obtain for a few dollars.  They are PRICELESS.  One is titled simply "Soul and Spirit."  Another is "Dying to Self."   Another is "THE CROSS AND CALVARY."  Jessie's biography is called "Molded by the Cross."  These are books published by OVERCOMER PUBLICATIONS.   Because of Jessie, I have written 6 books.  My deliverance counseling training program called SEW, is a model based upon spirit, soul and body.  SEW stands for Spiritual Empowerment Workshop.  If you are interested in taking the training, send me a fb message and I can hook you up.

Sacred words - Don´t get stucked in the words

@My friends it is OK to study the words of God that is what we all do and should do, but if someone is stuck in researching the words and driven by wish of persons own soul to know more than others to over prove them all the time, that is a FALSE doctrine. It is like a mosquito who is trapped in spider net and can´t get out. That kind of person is NOT operating in the spirit but in soul and in the flesh. I believe that knowledge puffs up, and that is one sort of "Spiritual abuse" When Jesus said "Yo will not need a teacher and you will be as your teacher" he did NOT mean ALL will bee puffed up with all knowledge.

Royal law

“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Galatians 5:14
For ALL the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
James 2:8-9
If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well, but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors.

 Knowledge puffs up

1 Corinthians 8
... We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

So is it bad to have knowledge NO!

But it is not required to get ALL knowledge by your own effort, that is why Jesus send a Helper the Holy Spirit and Bible is written for ALL generations and OT is prophecy about Jesus messiah and NT is written testament to all believers that they WILL inherit Kingdom of God if they are heir.
There is no need to complicate it more than this.

So, If you wish to ENTER THE LIFE, let you be lead by the Holy Spirit (indirectly obey the commandments) because Holy Spirit will lead you to purity and obedience.

I hope all of you see clearly that we are talking about "TWO DITCHES". 

Both are WRONG.

1. Did you notice that "CROSS" is not mentioned even once?
2. Is there any "Hidden meaning" ?
3. Did you notice that he talked about "WE" and I just wonder, WHO are "WE" ?
4. Could you sense "Spiritual pride" in this video? God hates that.
5. I had another reflection and that was that he "CLAIMS" that we are not BornAgain now, that is according to me completely wrong. He says we will be BornAgain when we resurrect physically at the end when Jesus arrives or when we die, I am not quite sure what he means actually. I feel disturbed in my spirit about this claim.
6. He also claims that "HolySpirit" is not HolySpirit but "Torah and the word of Jesus" is spirit of truth. It is not clear what he means by that, can you see the difference ?
7. If spirit speaks to spirit and deep to deep, does it matter in what language spirit speaks, Hebrew or Greek ? I just wonder.
8. The difference is that Torah can be void of Spirit but that the Spirit can not be void of Torah. I would say that Torah supports and confirms what Holy spirit tells us.

==> This is just too much errors to be a sound doctrine, I believe this is a false doctrine of "Sacred name movement" and new Judaism. That is not Christianity.

What is a "Planetary Pentecost" ??

• • Latter Rain Family teaches that believers in the last days will be almost as deity in the spiritual power and might, thus building a kingdom of God on earth prior to Jesus returns and establishes his millennial kingdom! 
    
     This delusion  has served as fuel for all sorts of unpleasant Pentecostal-charismatic expressions of Christianity, such as Faith movement, Toronto Blessing, Pensacola outpouring, Lakeland, and it continues constantly to provide fuel to the new context.
    
    Could it be that the same spirit that appears in the New Age today are moving in our churches and seduces us into believing that there is some sort of revival?

    
    Does this spirit of power prepare Christianity for a Planetary Pentecost?
    

      Planetary Pentecost is an alternative to  Armageddon ??

    
    

    It is frightening to see how similar ideas in the Latter Rain family is the New Age.
    New Age believes it is for the one upcoming spiritual events that we call the "Planetary Pentecost".
    

    Some would say that this is Satan who copied the thought of God.

    
    But when you know that the Latter Rain theology is unbiblical teachings , we see this rather than two errors running in highly parallel tracks.
    If you look deeper into the Latter Rain family, you can see many things that are direct copies from the New Age, not vice versa .

THE EARTHQUAKE IS HAPPENING NOW!

Many years ago, back when I first became enamoured with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, God gave me a vision.

Without going into a long explanation, it was of a fence line going North to South across the middle of the US but in a very zig-zag sort of way that had no real pattern.  He made known to me that this was where the world stopped an Christianity began.  The top of the fence was a razor; no one can straddly this fence!  the West side was the world and the East side was Christianity.  By appearances, some on the world side like more like the Church than some on the Christianity side due to the way the fence went back and forth across the US.

Then an Earthquake began.  This earthquake began slowly ONLY ALONG the fence line, and it split the 2 sides apart.  There were people clinging to both sides of the fence and THEY WERE DESTROYED!  When it was all over, everyone KNEW which side of the fence they were on and those on each side of the fence KNEW who was on their side and who was an enemy on the other side!

Yep, it is going on RIGHT NOW!  And I have been shown and told that many who THINK they are Christian are actually clinging to that fence; and they WILL BE DESTROYED!

I must say that not nearly the numbers will be saved as most Christians think.  As Ravenhill said, he believed it would be 2 % of those who claimed to BE Christian, were in reality Christian.  I believe he was being VERY, VERY  KIND!  Personally, I believe the number to be more like 0.2 % or maybe even far lower than that. This is of course in AMERICA.  In other places, I cannot say as I have not been there and the Lord has not spoken to me about.

But I tell you the truth, I DO NOT LIE, when I say that AMERICAN PRIDE and ARROGANCE think we are FAR BETTER than we actually are and we shall see just how many actually stand the test.

Linda has a dream of a train with a bunch of people on it, some of whom we knew.  As time went on, we moved up toward the front of the train.  We were in the first car and looked ahead and saw a great curve in the tracks.  We KNEW we would not make that curve at the speed we were traveling.  But those of us in the first care also knew we were to ABSOLUTELY TRUST THE LORD with our lives EVEN IF we were to die.

The people in the cars behind got scared and pulled the emergency stop cords.  This cause a great train wreck of all those care EXCEPT THE FIRST CAR.  It left the tracks and flew into the water of a lake.  A man who had been sqating by the lake stood and picked up the first train car, thereby saving everyone in it.  Thos behind, were gravely injured and many had died.

THIS TOO is going on today in America.  And it is only now that I have seen another aspect of the REALITY of both of these warnings from God.

Those who have put their trust ONLY IN CHRIST JESUS, have truly humbled themselves, let go of selfishness, including self-preservation.  Self-preservation is a character trait of ALL of those who live in the world and follow after the flesh!

Only those who have laid down their lives, including their rights to themselves and also have put to death self-preservation actually trust God absolutely.  This is shown clearly in the train dream.

The attributes of those who follow the Lord, are one of denying themselves, and a willingness to not compromise to the POINT OF DEATH!  This is also pictured in Rev 12:11>>

Rev 12:   11And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].

THIS is the attitude of the remnant!  ONLY THIS ATTITUDE will ever keep anyone from deception, falling away, etc.  Along with this attitude of absolute trust is a TOTAL LACK of reliance on self anything.  No self taught, self determined, studying on our own, self-centered, prideful arrogance thinking we have the TRUTH above all others, will ever keep us safe.

In fact, those who presume to KNOW THE TRUTH are likely NOT to know it at all.  It is a strange place to be in, not in thinking I know the truth, but TRUSTING HIM to teach me the truth.  They sound so similar and yet are like night and day!

He is the ONE who determines what is right and wrong IN EVERY CASE! We cannot rely on ourselves in the least matter.  Nothing we can do of ourselves is worth ANYTHING!  And all of these things are in the New Testament, but are not spoken of except to give a little lip service to once in awhile.

How imperative this all is and how few KNOW IT!

Things are changing.  The darkness is coming SOON!  Lord, make me ready for the darkness; make me ready for what YOU want me to do; make me the MAN YOU DESIRE NO MATTER WHAT THAT COSTS.

And I can tell you, if you want something similar, IT WILL COST YOU GREATLY!

Tithe

==> Those who keep the laws and THINK AND BELIEVE they are saved and MUST do so, are OUT OF GRACE. 

Because no one of you are without sin. You can not just give tithe and on other side you are spiritually pride or you lack the love to others or your enemies i.e. are not matured in love. It is NO benefit to know ALL Jewish words and meanings for your salvation.
Jews MUST convert to Gentile Christianity to be saved.
It is good to know Jewish language to understand deeply, that is true, BUT it is not necessary, you can do it only if you want.

If you believe you MUST do something you certainly are OUT OF GRACE and you ARE NOT FREE INDEED as our Lord Jesus said.

==> It is NOT words but Spirit behind the words that talks to your spirit and not your mind, you don´t have to understand every meaning of every word, you can still see it in your spirit.

And will not the physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you who, even with your written code and circumcision, are a transgressor of the law?

==> Only if you are lead by the Holy Spirit you CAN FULFILL THE LAW.

It does NOT help you to tithe in any way, yes you are free to do so if you like thats up to you, BUT my believe is that IF YOU CONTRIBUTE TO spreading deception YOU WILL be accountable for that.  It is enough with common sense to realize that, you don´t even need deep wisdom !

The Problem of Evil: Part 1
In view of the fact that God is the Commander of the New Gideon Army, it is appropriate to write about Him and His character. That way, we will all be better able to discern His will in the days of battle ahead of us.

One of the most difficult and persistent questions in history is how a loving God could allow evil to occur in the earth. Much of the time, evil is explained as a creation of Satan in order to remove all responsibility from God's shoulders. Yet the problem with that view is that it lessens the problem but does not resolve it fully. The leftover problems that this explanation leaves must be ignored in order to make the theory workable.

For instance, if Satan is the creator of evil, who created him? Is not a creator responsible for what he creates?..
The common explanation to the problem of creative responsibility is "free will." If Satan has a free will, then he is said to be fully responsible for all that he does, leaving God innocent of anything evil that happens in the world.

This principle then extends to man as well. If man does evil, then he does so by his total free will, leaving God innocent of anything that men do.

These explanations come at the expense of God's sovereignty, of course. Is God really an innocent Bystander in history? Is God really a helpless Superman in the sky who has all the POWER to stop evil, but is too much of a Gentleman to do much about it?

The leftover problems are:
(1) When God created beings with free will, did He not know that they would start doing evil things?
(2) Is a Creator not responsible for that which He creates?
(3) Why would a good and all-knowing God create either spiritual or physical beings with the capability of doing evil things???

We are usually told that such things were necessary in order to avoid creating a bunch of robots. Well, first of all, necessity does not remove liability. We are back to our original question, except that instead of asking how a good God could create evil, or evil beings with free will, we must now ask what it was that seemed to compel God to create them this way. And how does this reason eliminate God's liability???


In my view, the only way to reconcile a Sovereign God with a God of Perfect Love is to make Him so powerful that He can save everyone on the planet. To do so, however, one must also make Him totally Just. But how can a just God save everyone, considering the fact that there is so much evil in the world? Is there no way--not even for an all-wise God??

I have no ambition to improve on the ministry of Jesus. Greek says ‘In an unclean Spirit.”

The Greek says “Be muzzled” when Jesus said be quiet. There were physical manifestations. It was not normal for the Synagogue. His fame spread.

Jesus did not deal with the man; he dealt with the spirit in the man. v32-34 I do not like the words demon possessed. To be demonized is the best translation. A true Christian can not be possessed, but there are some areas where they are demonized. Where they are not fully in control. Almost Jesus dealed with the sick and demonized in one operation. Phillips uses the word expel. I like that. It best represents it best. Continued represents that it was a regular practice of Jesus.

Jesus was dealing with orthodox Jews who were normal people who had areas where they were not in control. Don’t think they must be a criminal or maniac. You must look at this objectively. Americans have no problem believing that Africans need deliverance. I have lived in Africa and I have found more demons here. Many believe that it is unscriptural to lay hands on a person with an evil spirit. If that is the case Jesus was unscriptural. Some we classify as physical are evil spirits. Healing the sick and casting out demons were intertwined in Jesus ministry. It is unscriptural to go out and preach and not cast out demons. The first thing Jesus did when he sent out he gave them authority to cast out evil spirits. It was included in their equipment and their commission. Luke 10v1 Then the 70 returned saying “even the demons submit” Mark 16v15 Go into all the world. V17 These signs will follow those who believe. Matthew 28v19-20 He told them to teach everything He had taught them. The tragedy the church has departed from it. They have made a disaster of it. Only one person is called an evangelist, Phillip. Acts 8v5 Phillips message was very simple. “Unclean spirits came out.” The first thing in his ministry was driving out evil spirits. There are many combined indications that warn us.

They are persons without bodies. They are discontent out of a body. They have 2 main objectives;

1. Prevent people knowing Jesus Christ as savior.
2. Keep you from serving Christ effectively.

The flesh, the old carnal nature. Demons move in and occupy. Flesh is the carcass, demons are the vultures. The remedy for the flesh is the cross. The remedy for demons is to expel. In general, if you are a sincere Christian, and there is something binding or controlling it is a demon...

CHARARTISTICS ACTIVITIES OF DEMONS.

If these are present in your life, you need to look at it. Anything that has a voice is a person.

1. Entice. They tempt people to do evil. Often in verbal form.
2. Harass. They study you. They know you weak place.
3. Torment. The bible speaks of tormenter in Matthew 18. I have met hundreds of Christians in the hand of tormenters. Unforgiveness. Satan is a legal expert; he knows he can come in.
4. Compel. Anything compulsive is bound to be demonic. Gluttony is demonic.
5. Enslave. Sex sin. Repent, go to Jesus. But go back, you are enslaved.
6. Defile. Make you feel dirty and unclean. Anything that rises up when you go to worship.
7. Deceive. All forms of spiritual deception are demonic. Pride is the doorway.
8. Weaken. Make sick or tired. Kill. Satan kills people physically.

4 and 5 equal addictions. TV is just as much an addiction as alcohol. They can not move into a room

Demonized people are usually restless. Proverbs 25v28

Based in years of experience. 
Anger, fear, pride, jealousy. All are demons.

1. Emotions and attitude.

3. The tongue. Lying spirit. Gossip. Unclean speak, negative talking.
4. Sex. The thing nobody talks about in church. So they go to a Physiologist.
5. Lusts. Perverted desires and appetites. The lusts of the flesh and the eyes.
6. Occult. Vast realm. Every part is demonic. Do not be involved in Yoga. Deep pit.
7. All false religions. In some respects Judaism.
8. All heresies. Departures from the Christian faith.
9. Physical bodies. Epilepsy. Seen many delivered...

5 COMMON QUESTIONS ON DEMONS

Spiritual warfare is simply tearing down strongholds.
We live in a bruised and broken world.
In the western world there is an outbreak of demonic forces.

We are a society that has more abuse and trauma. Sexual abuse, Rape, Internal trauma. All this is an opening for demonic forces. These are doorways

The world is filled with hurt and pain. To a large extent these people are not getting help from the church.

It truly is the end times. There is a greater degree in the Demons I see today.
There is a sense of urgency. The devil reads the signs of culture and knows what it is like. There is a satanic preparation going on in these times.
The devil is not all powerful. He has held back some things to the end. He has no reason for restraint. He knows he has to move quickly.

This presents a challenge for the church. There are more people demonically bound.
If the devil can control the western world he has the world...


CAN A CHRISTIAN HAVE A DEMON?
This is the wrong question. You’re taking something that is supernatural and trying to put it in a human context. Preachers and denominations do this all the time. Making rulings in the intellect that is not spiritual. There is an invisible part of you that is spirit.
People say if you have the Holy Spirit you can’t have a demon. Well, where is the spirit and where is the demon? You can’t simplify by saying he’s got it or he hasn’t. They can invade, intrude, come and go.
It is you spirit that is eternally reborn. Your body is not. What lives is what is eternal. There are parts of the human condition that are vulnerable.
Before you become a Christian you do things that open you up. When saved these can sometimes just go. You spirit can be regenerated by your flesh can still have issues of the flesh that must be resolved.
Things aren’t Ok in the body of Christ. The real problem we face is what Christians bring into the church from outside. Years ago when people got saved and come into the church they came from a different values structure. The climate today is much worse and they are coming into the church with all their junk. In fact they are saved pagans and the paganism has never been taken out.
When you are saved they do not have a right to be there...


HOW DO YOU KNOW IF A PERSON HAS A DEMON?

You look into there soul. In their eyes. You can be looking straight at the demon. The eyes can be dilated. The way that you know is what I call fly fishing. You keep casting till something bites.
By trying to do what would antagonize a demon.
You must discount any medical conditions. There are hormonal conditions. Are you seeing a counselor? Trauma or abuse issues can be the problem...


HOW DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DEMON AND MULTIPLE PERSONALITY?

Multiple personality happens after severe personal trauma causes the person to take on something to prevent mental breakdown. They create an internal identity. They do this to cope with life. It often acts like a demon. Often rage is help in the other personality. It is helping the person continue without breaking down.
Most abuse happens when people are children. They often take on a new identity. They become frozen in time. Understand that a multiple personality is not a demon. Many have tried to cast out something and caused bigger problems. Demons are cleaver, they can hide behind alters. You must bring healing to the fractured identities before you cast anything out. The emotional fragmentation has to be handled first.
a. A demon has an inherent hatred towards God. They hate Christian truth. It is their sense of hatred towards “The blood of Jesus” or the name “Jesus Christ” There is a difference in how they respond. A personality speaks like a person.

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE THE ONE TO DO IT?

You must know when it is right for you. Sometimes you just leave it cause the person is not ready or it is not yours to deal with.
WHEN DO YOU DO IT?
There is a time and season to be involved. Sometimes the person is not ready. Sometimes inner healing must take place when deaing with a hurting person...


The bottom line is that God's sovereignty and wisdom is somewhat limited by this explanation. The view first postulates spiritual beings who do things according to their own will, independently of God, and then postulates billions of human beings each having their own will and domain independent of God. By the time we put all of these into the equation, we find that God is largely shouldered out of His own universe.

Worse yet, all of these independent gods in the spirit and in the world have no problem using force and coersion to expand their wills upon others in the earth--yet the rules somehow forbid God to do the same. Who makes up these rules???


Then also God's very wisdom and capability comes into question. Was He not wise enough to make a plan that would save everyone? Was He incapable? Does man's free will trump God's will? Is man the master of his own destiny, except for all the coersion taking place at the hands of other men or the things that the devil made them do?

If men are being coerced or forced by other men or spirits, then men are really only as free as their level of authority. As they rise in authority, they get to force and coerce others who then have less free will. But only the top authority--the king perhaps?--has total free will. Everyone else is being forced to be obedient, even against his will...


I believe that there is a way to save all mankind while preserving God's sovereignty, love, mercy, and justice--and every other part of God's character. If it could be shown that He is powerful enough to save all, loving enough to save all, and wise enough to overcome the problem of evil in the world without violating His own demand for justice, would not this be the ideal God to follow? Would not everyone admire such a God and want to follow Him, not by compulsion, but by love?

That is the kind of God that I follow. This is the secret to really knowing God for who He is. Those who truly seek Him will find Him, but I have discovered that most people do not know that such a God even exists. Such a God is "too good to be true....


Others have been so abused that they do not want God to save their abusers. Their heart bitterness and emotional wounds will not allow them to forgive and let go long enough to conceive of such a God. They are looking for a God powerful enough to protect them from abuse, but not so loving as to work in the lives of their abusers to turn them from their sin and to save them.

Most people, however, simply do not know that the Scriptures set forth such a God, because they have been warned against Him by those who set forth alternate viewpoints. As we look at this more closely in the days ahead, I will point out Scriptures for your consideration that you may have missed in the past...
