The very spirit of God in us that teaches us and molds us into the image of the Son of God

Two days from now marks nearly 2000 years from the birth of the Church of Jesus Christ, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.

As satan and his minions tighten their grip in this evil day, let us not forget to put on the whole armor of God , and to stand firm in and for the truth of the word of God, no matter how much we are persecuted and rejected.

Eph.6, Luke 6 woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.“Woe to you who are full now, for you shall be hungry. “Woe to you who laugh now, for you shall mourn and weep. Woe to you, when all people speak well of you, for so their fathers did to the false prophets.

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. “Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the true prophets.

Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.Heb. 12:14 And God did not spare the ancient world—except for Noah and the seven others in his family. For God did not spare even the angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, in gloomy pits of darkness, where they are being held until the day of judgment.

Noah warned the world of God’s righteous judgment. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood. Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people. So God protected Noah when he destroyed the world of ungodly people with a vast flood. Later, God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned them into heaps of ashes.

He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people. But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him.

Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day. So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. He is especially hard on those who follow their own twisted sexual desire, and who despise the authority of the word of God. These people are proud and arrogant, daring even to scoff at supernatural beings without so much as trembling.
