By Jawahar Peter
Who make you to speak gibberish bla bla tongues?
Acts 2:
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit of Jesus, and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were Jewish devout Pilgrims at Jerusalem , who came from far away countries where they normally lived and knew that faraway language. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the pilgrims came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language of his faraway country from where they came from to Jerusalem. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaean fisherman? 8 And how hear we every man in our own language of our faraway country, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, esopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, Libya Cyrene, and Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our languages the wonderful works of God of Isaiah 53 that God taking the punishment of sin of mankind and then raising from death on 3rd day. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this? 13 Others mocking said, These men are full of country licqor.
14 But Peter, standing up said 22 Ye men of Israel both pilgrims as well this city natives, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man proved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
31 David seeing this long before predicted of the resurrection of Christ, that Jesus would neither be abandoned in grave, nor his flesh would see decay.
===> 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
===> 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
>>>> .. but they never spoke any gibberish bla bla toungues of 20 th century false doctrine Pentecostals.
Acts 4
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spake the word of God with boldness(but not meaningless chattering toungues).Acts 8
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them (most propably phillip preached death and resurrection of Lord Jesus as a miracle but not as propitiation for original sin i.e as plan of salvation as we now understand clearly.)13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
>>>> .. we see modern day Pentecostals also of this type. They just have faith to get prosperity from God but they have no idea of original sin that leads to hell , for which Jesus died on cross . They are childishly happy at miracles a multi billion TV begging industry.
14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might understand the true meaning of the work of cross and then really receive the Holy Spirit:
16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus just by believing miracles but never repented of original sin and thus they never realized the actual purpose of Jesus death and resurrection.)
17 Then after much explaining of CROSS laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit
>>>> with out much blabla tongues.
Now Phillip learned from Peter and John the message of Cross fully well. 35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture alone, and preached unto eunuch, Crucified Jesus without need for a miracles and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him. 39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw no more need of Phillip because Holy Spirit was talking to him every day in his quite time of scripture study: and he went on his way rejoicing
>>>> though he never spoke any gibberish as sign of having Holy Spirit.
40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea now preaching only message of cross and establishing local churches.
Acts 9
17 So Ananias departed and entered the house, placed his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you came here, has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 Immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized, (>>>> paul never spoke gibberish as initial evidence) 19 and after taking some food, his strength returned. For several days he was with the disciples in Damascus, 20 and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “This man is the Son of God.” 21 All who heard him were amazed and were saying, “Is this not the man who in Jerusalem was ravaging those who call on this name, and who had come here to bring them as prisoners to the chief priests?” 22 But Saul became more and more capable, and was causing consternation among the Jews who lived in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.Acts 10
44 While Peter was still speaking about Cross-death and resurrection of Lord Jesus, the Holy Spirit fell on all those who heard the message of cross. 45 The circumcised Jewish believers who had accompanied Peter were greatly astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles, 46 for they heard them speaking in Jewish Language (Gentiles do not know and thus cant speak Jewish language) and praising God for resurrection. Then Peter said, 47 “No one can withhold the water for these people to be baptized, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did when we spoke Gentiles languages without our knowledge in Acts chapter 2, can he?” 48 So he gave orders to have them baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.>>>> Though tongue speakers don't know what they utter but listeners understand them fully well for God never speaks any thing to confuse every body.
>>>> Thus we conclude uttering with out meaning to anybody is devils confusion.
Acts 15
8 And God, who knows the heart, has testified to them by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, 9 and he made no distinction between them and us, cleansing their hearts by faith.Tongues of Jewish people were understood by Gentiles and Tongues of gentiles were understood by Jews to prove they all had same Holy Spirit of Lord Jesus.
Acts 19
1 While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul went through the inland regions and came to Ephesus. He found some disciples there 2 and said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They replied, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” 3 So Paul said, “Into what then were you baptized?” “Into John’s baptism,” they replied. 4 Paul said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5 When they heard message of cross repentance from original sin, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus,6 and when Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they began to speak in tongues which Paul could understand that these people received genuine Holy-spirit and to repeat the message of cross correctly.
