Yes it is true,
God don´t want anyone to perish and so don´t we as true Christians either. But false teachers and preacher are leading lot of people to perish. Holy Spirit makes true believers to shine, salt (disturb, hinder) and expose evildoers in different ways, right?(Deuteronomy 11:16)
Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them
(Luke 16:8)
So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly.
For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.
(Ephesians 5:9)
for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth
(2 Corinthians 11:14)
And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
