Without the spirit of God I agree the Bible is just a dead book.
It’s written not for the world but only those chosen by God (which is very few) as otherwise the Scriptures are a sealed book. Only those of God can hear the words of Jesus, the living words He speaks to us daily but also the Scriptures come alive and reveal the things of God but in no way contain the Lord. Church as most know it is based on the Bible, devoid of the Spirit and it is the spirits of antichrist that have promoted bible knowledge which does not lead to the Lord. The Bible has confirmed many things shown in the Spirit and the Scriptures testify of Jesus and His righteous judgments. Without the Spirit men will be ever learning but never able to come to knowledge of the truth. That describes the professing church, they are without understanding and worship the image of the beast just as the Scripture foretell.The Scriptures are inspired by the Holy Spirit we are told so since we are also told the Holy Spirit will tell us the things of Jesus, it can be deduced that the Scriptures are the Word of God. But these words are dead if not accompanied by the Holy Spirit living in us, as otherwise the book will be sealed and both the literate and illeterate will not be able to discern what God spoke. Jesus quoted from the Scriptures and opens the eyes of His true sheep so they can understand them.

This is what Isaiah 29 is speaking about. A passage Jesus Himself referenced in Matthew 15, Mark 7 etc. I am just pasting in a portion.Isaiah 29 – The whole vision has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is literate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” 12 Then the book is delivered to one who is illiterate, saying, “Read this, please.” And he says, “I am not literate.”
So without the Spirit, nobody can understand what the Scriptures say.
ALL REVELATION Is given by God. He has given me some revelation, not all of it as nobody has it all, we are all part of one body. God has used the Bible to show me many things. The Mark of Satan is walking after the lusts of the flesh, a life focused on I, ME, MY. We must put on the divine nature of God by dying to the flesh to be raised anew into eternal life. His divine power (grace) has given us everything we need to do this and be regenerated into a new creation putting to death the deeds of the flesh. That is the salvation walk.The living WORD of GOD is what really matters.
Without it nobody is saved and nobody can overcome sin. The Bible never saved anybody.
We did not even have ready access to Bibles until 100 years ago to the masses. Absolutely Satan has twisted the Scriptures, just like the devil did speaking with Jesus in the wildnerness. The devil twisted God’s words spoken to Adam and Eve, that is what devils do, they lie by twisting the words of God and making it into a lie. The Bible by itself is a dead book and will only bring delusion and get people to think they are saved when they are not saved. The Bible was written for the true people of God that God Himself has chosen and God Himself has saved by His will not the will of any man (John 1:12-13). Still God is in control and has allowed the Bible to be preserved.
In the hands of a true Born Again believer, it is a powerful testimony and a witness to the love and righteous judgments of Jesus the Lord. In the hands a religious person that does not know God, it is death sentence of deception. So the focus in our ministry, is not to hand out Bibles, it should be to tell people about Jesus and teach them to obey His commandments and turn their hearts to God in hopes that He may save them from their sin.
But let’s not throw away this tool as I have shown people many things in the Scriptures that they did not see before and it has helped wake them up. That is how I came out of my apostasy. The Lord moved first, but then He put in my path men of God that He worked thru to open my mind and reveal greater truths to me. So we can argue whether the Bible is the Word of God or just the Scriptures. That is a controversial question that I don’t care to focus on.
The sons of God are led by the Spirit of God period. Many sons of God have Bibles and use them to glorify God. Other sons of God don’t have Bibles but that does not make them any less a son of God. So let’s not trash the Bible.
Let’s trash the deeds of darkness (sin) that remains in the midst of the congregation and expose the false teachers that teach doctrines that do not conform us to godliness.
This includes
1) perverting grace into license to sin and
2) putting us back under the law and saving us by the strength of our own works.
The problem in the fallen church is not that they have Bibles and read them, the problems is they are not Born of God, they do not have the Spirit, and they are without understanding, ever learning but never able to come to knowledge of the truth. They will remain blind, as God Himself makes them blind until and unless they repent and God then moves in to purify their hearts so they can see. As a brother, my counsel to you is to be on guard for a spirit of condemnation and judgment. Many of us have battled this and it is an amazing thing when the Spirit of God begins moving in our lives and the logs come out and we can now see the Kingdom here on the earth.
The devil, who is the tester of all faith will be right there to puff us up to bring a spirit of judgment to us, so we will become a clanging gong and be worthless for bearing fruit in the Kingdom. The problem is not the Bible, the problems is in the hearts of the people.
Very few are saved but know we cannot save anyone as that is all the work of God. All we can do is sow the good seed, others will water it and we can pray for people to be saved but whether or not it happens is up to God. He is the potter and we are the clay and God said so Himself that some vessels He hardens and creates for destruction. Jesus said, you did not choose me, I chose you first.
Romans 9:18 Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens. You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” 20 But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?
Some will want to argue that only the Old Testament is the Word of God. I believe the gospel handed down and entrusted to the saints is properly represented in the New Testament, but you know what, I don’t need the New Testament to show the true gospel, it is all in the Old Testament already. The Bereans did not need it and neither do we, but it is an awesome gift to have the New Testament if combined with the Holy Spirit dwelling in you
Did Satan write the Bible
Scripture and the Word of God is not the same, although I will interchangeable refer to the Scriptures made alive by the Holy Spirit as the WORD of GOD because when the Spirit is revealing things to you live, while you read the Bible, that is the LIVING WORD.
Jesus gives all revelation and He uses these NT letters, gospel accounts and OT writings to do just that.
I won’t limit God and know He saved many without Bibles.
Maybe Satan did assemble the Bible, but it does not matter because whatever Satan did, God told the enemy to do it. Satan is completely under God’s control and I am going to trust God to work all things for the greater good for those that love Him. If you think Satan is operating outside the will of God, we have much bigger issues to get into. Not a bird falls from the sky outside the will of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The enemy was created by Jesus Christ for His purposes which the Bible clearly tells us as many of my posts and videos have focused on.
So God put this Bible here, whether a demon compiled it or not, that is irrelevant.
Many have made the Bible an idol, just as they have their church or their pastor and we all know that many of them do not know the Lord, they are simply religious and the Jesus they worship is the image of the Beast. So I will continue to use the Bible, not idolize it nor be proud that I have some understanding of it. The Scriptures testify and are a revelation of the Lord Jesus from Genesis to Revelation.
The Apostles were first hand eye witnesses to Jesus walking this earth. His words do not return void, even those spoken two thousand years ago to those the Spirit gives ears to hear.
You can learn nothing from the Bible without the Spirit. But with that Spirit the Bible is useful, even powerful. The letters in the New Testament and the prophecy and visions given to the churches of old can tell us things of God and things to come and give us examples on how to walk the highway to holiness. We are all of ONE BODY and ONE SPIRIT, so the messages given to them, many of which are immutable truths of God’s plan and very much apply to us today. The Spirit will lead you. So whether or not you read the Bible matters not to me, the main thing is we are Born Again of the Spirit and have had our hearts circumcised by the finger of God. But we need to be careful to not run off the sheep seeking the way to Zion.

You are correct in seeing the apostasy in virtually all of what man calls church and calls Christian. Most of it is of the devil. But there are many sides to Babylon. The powers of darkness guard the way to the tree of life. They are what we must overcome in addition to purging sin. They are the testers of all faith that our jealous God sends to purify and redeem for Himself a pure and spotless Bride. Do not be overcome by their deception. Escaping the perverted grace gospel is not enough, you must also escape the allure of legalism and pride amongst others. There are many tests. While man saves nobody, it is all the work of God, we are not to be idle and unproductive in His service. Maybe the Lord has you doing nothing for a season, that is between you and God, but for many others of us in the “little flock”, God has sent us and called us to plants seeds, water seeds, be watchmen, do deliverance etc. We all don’t have the same walk or the same ministry. We are ONE BODY and we all have different parts to play. The main thing is making sure one is in the Body of Christ and is not a tare. You correctly have noted that the true sons of God are led by the Spirit of God. Do not quench the Spirit that is working in God’s other people.
ReplyDeleteI just want to tell everyone that it is to recommend to be careful when interpreting Biblical meaning in the real world, no one have clear picture about this things, Bible is spiritual Book, WRITTEN WORD OF GOD and it is not always as it seems to be i.e. it is not obvious what it means in the world. God speaks to each one individually by His Holy Spirit.
ReplyDeleteSurely, its a Spiritual warefare and one has to fight it out through prayer and prayers alone. "Weopons of our Warefare are not Carnal but Spiritual to pull down the strongholds of the enemy". Thats what you have to believe and stand on. Remember, you cannot curcify a spirit (meaning cannot physically fight a spiritual problem) nor you can cast out the flesh (meaning that you cannot just pray and pray on what requires a physical action). Discerning between the two requires muturity and in this case definitely the "Spiritual maturity".
